On Feb. 26, 2015 the Emery Spartan boy’s basketball team matched up with the Summit Academy Bears in the quarterfinals of the 2A State Championship Tournament at the Sevier Valley Center in Richfield.

Trailing by 12 points with 4:30 remaining in regulation, the Spartans rallied to force overtime and earn a 78-73 win. Dillon Wilstead and Bowdie Jacobson each scored 15 points. Tyson Roper chipped in with 12, while Koby Butler ended with 12 points and nine boards. Listen to the broadcast in it’s entirety as the Spartans marched to the 2A State Championship.
