Wendall Rudolph Lund, age 62, passed away May 17, 2020, at Pinnacle Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Wendall was born on October 24, 1957, in Murray, Utah to Theodore and Remola Proctor Lund. After high school, Wendall married Deborah Freeman on August 10, 1979, in Kearns, UT. They would later divorce. Together, they had four great kids.

Wendall had a passion for anything mechanics. He fixed everything; he was always working on something. We all had our turn out with dad working on something. He passed the passion on to his son Kyle, who to this day still loves the pastime. Wendall also loved the mountains and desert. If it was warm we were camping or on a ride. If it wasn’t warm we still were on a ride, finding little roads and trails, fishing when we could.

Our dad was a good man; the best man. He was loved by so many. He taught his kids so much. He will be greatly missed.

Wendall is survived by his four kids, Carla (James) Ceal, Sunnyside, UT, Kyle (Ashlee) Lund of Spring Glen, UT, Kollette (Jason) Frederick, Layton, Utah, Lisa (Macy) Moosman, Ferron, UT; three brothers, 10 sisters; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his aunt, Olive Long; nephews, Brad Pruitt and Mark Lund.

The family wishes to thank Pinnacle Nursing & Rehabilitation Center and Rocky Mountain Home Care & Hospice. He was loved so much by everyone and was treated well. Thank you.
