Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Lucille Houskeeper, born December 18, 1943 in Price, Utah, to Walter and Barbra Westbrook, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2020, at Utah Valley Hospital after a sudden illness.

Lucille was a very loving and caring person to all who knew her. She will always be remembered for her elaborate holiday decorations and making sure no one was forgotten or alone on the holidays.

She spent her time working as an accountant until she retired. She was in a local band called the Nightrain with her husband Skip Houskeeper. She spent her time after retirement traveling and taking care of her beloved husband. After he passed away, she spent her time with her family and traveling. Lucille also found love again with Butch Pilling. They spent their time traveling, talking, and having fun together.

Lucille is preceded in death by her husband, Skip Houskeeper; parents, Walter and Barbra Westbrook; brothers, Charles Westbrook, Jack Westbrook, and Herbert Westbrook; son-in-law, Jessie Smith.

She was survived by her children, Shane, Riverton, Mont, Salt Lake, Bobbie, Taylorsville, DeAnn (Sean), Price; grandchildren, Kenneth, JayDee (Jerry), Dustin, Sharon (Virgil), Karen, Sierra, and Kaylie; great-grandchildren, Michael, Ryanna, and Haigen, brother, Richard (Ida); brothers-in-law, Brent (Connie), Craig (Donna); sisters-in-law, Linda (Vern), Joni Westbrook; and many other loving family members and longtime friends.

Funeral service, Wednesday, May 27, 2020, 11:00 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at Mitchell Funeral Home Tuesday evening from 7:00-8:00 p.m. and Wednesday one hour prior to the service. Interment, Cliffview Cemetery. The funeral service will be live streamed on Mitchell Funeral Home’s Facebook page.
