The Carbon County Chamber of Commerce has some great online events coming up and they would like to invite businesses and individuals to participate. Executive Chamber Director, Deserae Stevenson stopped by Castle Country Radio to share all the details about the Grow with Google event, the July Luncheon and shared information about the SnapShot Passport program.

“So we are super excited to be bringing back our Google training that was canceled last year. So that will be July 10 and it will be a webinar so it will be via either Zoom or WebX, whatever they are choosing to do, Google is taking those RSVPs. If you would like information on that we can send you over the link so you can get your RSVP in on that and that will go from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, again on July 10,” said Stevenson. This is a free event with a guest speaker speaking on the topic of Get Your Business Online.

The chamber’s July Luncheon is scheduled to take place by Zoom Webinar on Thursday, July 16. “We did have the possibility of doing it in person but we just want to be very cautious still so we’re just going to slowly go into our luncheons again so we’re still going to hold that via zoom. So that’s going to be July 16, and it will go from noon till 1:00 pm. Again, we will send over that link if anybody would like that,” stated Stevenson. The guest speaker for the luncheon will be Spencer Loveless on the topic of Success Story During COVID-19. This month’s business spotlight is on Castleview Hospital and the community spotlight is on Price City.

The SnapShot Passport program is gearing up for a fun summer for families in the area. This year the program will be ran differently as Stevenson explains, “We understand with social distancing, you know we’re not asking anybody to go inside the stores this year. Its going to be more of doing activities at home, standing in front of the business – just depends on whatever it is. But we want to make sure that we’re still having everybody be safe so we’ve made it a little easier this year. But you’re still going to be doing a lot with your family, a lot with your friends.”
