The Price City Community Progress Committee will be judging the Annual Halloween “Hocus Pocus” Contest the week of Sunday, October 16 till Sunday, October 23. Judging is done by the committee and yards are judged on “Curb Appeal” by the following criteria: Best display of theme.

Participants must live within Price City limits. There will be four homes chosen-one in northeast Price, southeast Price, southwest Price and northwest Price and two businesses. Judges will remain in their vehicles as they make their selections so decorations and themes must be visible from the curb.

Contestants may choose to include lights or no lights with their yard adornments. Themes can range from dark and ghoulish or a simpler approach by showing off festive fall colored pumpkins or something a bit more humorous and wacky like witches/ghosts on their porches or in the trees. The possibilities for Price City Residents are endless.

The yards chosen will receive a Hocus Pocus sign for their yard and a photo of them and their yard in the local newspaper.
