The Bureau of Land Management has a few volunteer projects set up for the month of April and is in need of individuals or community organizations to come be actively involved in assisting in the conservation of public lands.

On Saturday, April 9 at 9:00 am a volunteer project is set for the Wood Hill Mountain Bike Trail System. The project will consist of continuing to create signs for all of the designated trails and completing any trail maintenance where needed. Volunteers are asked to meet at the new trail-head where the bathroom is located on Wood Hill which is just north of Price.

The rest of the month volunteers will continue updating signs and improving trails at Chimney Rock Trail system on Friday, April 22 and Saturday April 23.

If you would like additional information on the projects, such as start times contact Jaydon Mead at the BLM Price Field Office 636-3646 or by email jmead@blm.gov
