The 6th Annual United Way of Eastern Utah Golf Tournament is set to take place on Saturday, April 23 at the Carbon Country Club Golf Course. The four-person scramble registration will begin at 8:00 am with a shotgun start at 9:00 am.

Carol Wright, Director of the United Way of Eastern Utah said, “We would love it if you would come and do a team, a team is $300.00 or a hole sponsor which is $150.00 but if you do a team and hole sponsor it will only be $400.00.” Entry fee covers all green fees, cart, golfer gifts, a continental breakfast, lunch and opportunity drawing tickets.

Rocky Mountain Home Care will be sponsor the continental breakfast for registered participants beginning at 8:00 am, with lunch sponsored by Parkdale Health and Rehab along with dessert sponsored by Symbii.

“We are going to have a closest to the hole for both men and women, which we have done every year. We’re going t have buy a yard get a yard, where golfers know what that is, they buy a yard and can move their ball. We’re going to have grenades this year, which is a new one we are trying this year. We have mulligans, and of course we have the win a car on the hole and one,” stated Wright. The buy a yard will be $20.00 each, with grenade and mulligans at $5.00 each.

All proceeds from the annual golf tournament will go to the help the United Way of Eastern Utah. Wright explained further, “It will go where ever is needed on either our Sole 2 Souls Shoe program, our Youth Scholarship program, the Angel Tree program that we coordinate, our Live, Love, Local cancer assistance program, or of course our Day of Caring program.”
