On 6-23-16 just after 0700, the Carbon Metro Drug Task Force served a search warrant at 50 ½ 500 S in Price at the Scott Joseph Strong residence.  The task force was assisted by officers from Price City and Helper City.

Strong, DOB 10-27-86 of Price was arrested and booked into the Carbon County jail for Possession With Intent To Distribute Heroin, a 2^nd degree felony charge.  About 7 grams of heroin and just under $1500 cash was allegedly seized from Strong.  Brandon Wilson, DOB 1-3-92 of Price, was also booked on misdemeanor charges of Possession of Heroin and Possession of Paraphernalia.

Strong has four previous arrests with one conviction and a current plea in abeyance agreement in effect with the 7^th District Court regarding Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Wilson has one previous theft arrest with no listed disposition.

The Carbon County Attorney’s Office will review reports and determine appropriate formal charges.
