Wellington City would like to invite the community to their annual Pioneer Days celebration on Friday, July 22 and Saturday, July 23. This year’s theme is entitled Where Nature Smiles for Hundreds of Miles.

Friday evening will kick off with the annual Dutch Oven Dinner provided by Grab n Growl from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, with live entertainment provided by Los Hermanos de los Andes. Advanced tickets may be purchased at City Hall and the cost for adults is $10.00 and children $8.00. Tickets may also be purchased at the event for a slight increase in price.

Saturday morning breakfast in the park will begin at 7:00 am till 9:00 am and is provided by the Wellington City Fire Department. The cost is $5.00 single or $20.00 family.

The parade will be lead by Grand Marshalls Sam and Pat Espinoza at 10:00 am down Wellington’s Main Street and end at the park. Visitors can head into the park for a horseshoe tournament, kid’s games, vendors, food and live entertainment all day.
