The community of Castle Dale would like to invite everyone out for the 1st Annual Summer Sidewalk Jamboree on Friday, August 5 and Saturday, August 6. This will be the first time for the event and organizers are hoping this will become an annual event each year in conjunction with the Castle Valley Pageant.

Amanda Leonard, one of the organizers spoke about the creation of event, “The Emery County Business Chamber wanted to have an event during the Castle Valley Pageant to take advantage of all of the people that are going to be coming into the area and give our community a chance to have something to do and a place for people to shop local. All of this is going to take place at the Castle Dale Recreation Center and City Pavilion.”

Friday and Saturday will kick off with booths and vendors in the park from 11:00 am till 7:00 pm and items such as crafts, food, candy, clothes and décor will be sold. There will also be kids activities such as story time, kids games, sidewalk chalk art contest and a booth scavenger hunt.
