The Notre Dame Church’s Annual Oktoberfest Celebration will take place on Friday, September 23 and Saturday, September 24 at the Hope Community Center located at 200 North Carbon Ave in Price.

Nick Tatton, an Event Organizer spoke about the celebration, “It will be the usual program there will be food and games, lunch and dinner. We want to get everybody out to help take advantage of that fundraiser.” Friday activities will start at 11:00 am and run through till 10:00 pm. There will be lunch, snacks and drinks, kid’s games, baked good and craft booths, religious store and silent auctions.

Dinner will be served on both Friday and Saturday evening, Tatton added, “A special dinner, a Mexican plate dinner on Friday night and Saturday night we’re going to be having schnitzel.” For those not familiar with schnitzel it is a thin slice of veal or other light meat, coated in breadcrumbs and fried to perfection.

“Kiwanis is going to do a pancake breakfast fundraiser in conjunction with Oktoberfest,” stated Tatton. Breakfast will begin at 7:00 am till 10:00 am and then another full day of lunch, snacks and drinks, kid’s games, baked good and craft booths, religious store, and silent auctions all of which will run till 11:00 pm that night.

Proceeds will benefit Notre Dame Church with its charitable and civic involvements.
