The Small Business Development Center presents Get your Business Online Series every other Thursday evening from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the USU-Eastern Jennifer Leavitt Student Center. This event is free to business owners and/or any individuals that would like to gain the “know how” on getting their businesses online.

Ryan Murray, Director said, “Now what this is, is we’re really reaching out to the local businesses and saying Hey, you know what if you are not using the internet to grow your sales than you are missing out. We’ve seen that, we’ve seen so many small businesses that have taken advantage of getting online and they are really doing excellent.” This is the second portion of the series and they will continue on through December.

“So from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm we are bringing in a guest presenter, Mark Jespersen. He has been extraordinarily successful here locally selling online; he knows his stuff, he knows what he is doing, so he’s going to come in and share some great practices,” said Murray.  Attendees are urged to bring in their laptops, tablets and/or smart phones to engage in some exercises.

Businesses will learn that the internet offers so much for a business all over the world. “Can I just tell you that this is such a critical and important thing for businesses. I got a lot of businesses that are talking about Well hey, what about the local economy and everything that is happening here locally?  That’s really important but we live in a global world and you can be selling to anywhere; you can sell across the United States, you can sell across the world,” stated Murray. This is not only an opportunity to learn how to use the internet to benefit your business but a great time to network with other business owners.
