The Price City Community Progress Committee completed judging for the Annual Halloween “Hocus Pocus” Contest and will be making awards on Thursday, October 27 at each winning home and business.

The businesses that took the honors this year are:

5:00 pm Apple Country Crafts owner Carrie Richardson located at 19 Main Street

5:10 pm Price Floral owner Jackie Davis located at 44 West Main Street

Business Runner-up recognition

5:20 pm Moment 2 Cherish/Body Glow Day Spa owner Laska McCourt located at 69 West Main Street

5:25 pm Maverick located at 891 East Main Street

The Price City residents that have been named 2016 winners are:

5:50 pm       Kenneth and Carrie Huff at 318 East 100 South

6:00 pm       Matt and Melanie Huff at 270 South 700 West

6:20 pm       Doug and Christine Trease at 302 North 300 East

6:30 pm       Casey and Jill Vuksinick at 642 North 300 East

Runner-up recognition

6:10 pm       Danny Kofford at 168 North 200 East

The criteria for the contest was based on creativity, orderly, festive and could include lights if the participants chose to.

The lucky winners will be awarded today with a token sign from Price City Community Progress and Price City to show appreciation for responsible and prideful citizens and businesses of Price City.
