Local Foster care supports over 100 children that need support in a very tumultuous time in their lives. There are currently about 35 families that take care of these children but more families are needed. There is a “Lunch and Learn” for interested people being held May 16 at the conference room of the Division of Workforce Services on Price River Drive. The meeting will be held for noon to 1:00 p.m. The costs of housing foster kids are reimbursed.
