Superintendent Steve Carlson has been in Carbon County School District for six years. Each year testing scores and teacher collaboration has increased. The School Board has authorized a computer for every student. All High School and Jr High kids have them along with 5^th and 4^th grades. This next school year 3^rd graders will each have access to a computer. The teacher shortage is real and many times stems from beginning salary.
