Our beloved mother, sister, aunt and yiayia, Grace Orphanakis Lowe, age 90, passed away October 1, 2018 in Price, Utah on her 68th wedding anniversary.

She was born January 8, 1928 in Van Houten, New Mexico to Christ Emanuel and Stella Saradakis Orphanakis.

She married the love of her life Norman “Tucker” Lowe on October 1, 1950 in Salt Lake City at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. From this union two children were born, Christopher and James whom they loved dearly. Norman preceded her in death on January 11, 2012.

Grace moved to Hiawatha in 1935 where she worked at the Hiawatha mine office. Norman and Grace moved to Salt Lake City in 1950. She worked at OC Tanner and other corporate entities. She enjoyed reading and watching the
news. She was a very independent, opinionated person and loved her alone time. Grace was a very graceful and elegant person. Grace was a woman ahead of her time. She was a lady, and a lady knows when it’s time to go.
May her memory be eternal.
