Emery High School recently unveiled its new home court design which will be used for the start of the upcoming volleyball season in August, followed by basketball in November.

The new Spartan Center court has been improved in wood, paint and color selections. The changes include darker wood, a new midcourt logo and updated baseline and lane designs.

The prior court featured lighter wood throughout with a yellow/black baseline along with shadow letters. Midcourt featured a basketball, with no primary logo. The previous design also placed a shield with the letter E at the three-quarter mark.

Midcourt now features the latest primary Spartan school logo. Both baselines have a yellow ‘Emery’ wordmark in a new font. The free throw line is now solid wood, which flows into a black apron that goes around the court. The gym’s name is now prominently displayed beyond the three-point line on each side of the court.

The new court will be featured for the first time in an official home contest on Sept. 12 when the Lady Spartans volleyball team plays host to the Carbon Dinos.
