Jack Ray Barham, age 68 died unexpectedly due to complications from chemotherapy and radiation on Thursday August 1st, 2019 at the Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orlando, Florida.

Jack leaves behind his wife of 11 years, Elisabeth Thompson-Barham, son Richard Barham, stepsons Jeremy Jersey and David Blackham, stepdaughters Penny Blackham McConnell and Jennifer Thompson-Seitz, grandchildren Rhiannon Blackham, Amelie Blackham, Nicholas Seitz, Madeleine Seitz, and Lucas Seitz along with three generations of nephews and nieces.

Jack was born to Donald and Virginia (Granger) Barham; he was their seventh and final child. He joined the United States Marine Corps in 1968. After his service he had numerous careers in the Coal mining industry, asbestos abatement, construction and the airline industry as a lead ramp serviceman and shop steward.

He retired from United Airlines in 2014 to Orlando, Florida where he became active in the community with the Homeowners Association and later with the Federated Manufactured Homes Association. At which time he was diagnosed with stage one Esophageal Cancer. Jack had a passion for scuba diving, travel, cruising, video games and last but, not least the Democratic Party.

A Celebration of Life memorial service will be on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 10:00 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home, Price, UT. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are welcome to share memories at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
