The Lady Pirates were in Dugway and it was definitely a business trip, holding the Mustangs to a total of 10 points including just one point in the second quarter, and cruising their way to a 63-10 win.

After the first half they had a 29-3 lead and they would continue to push the tempo until they had built up a 53 point lead.

The Pirates were led on the court by Abby Erwin with 16, Morgan Bastian added 15 points and Talynn Lovato dropped 14 in this lopsided victory.

Green River now sits at 5-6 and #13 in the state RPI for the 1A classification. They are the winners of four of their last six and are headed into Region 19 play.

The Pirates will be in Bicknell tonight to take on Wayne as they wrap up non-conference play. Green River will open region play on January 10 when when they will welcome Whitehorse to town , Tip-off for the game on Friday night is set for 7 pm..

They will follow that up with a game next Tuesday in Price against the Pinnacle Panthers.
