The Lady Panthers are on an two game road trip and the first stop was at the Escalante Moquis, and after trailing 24-21 at the half, they would come out flat in the third and fall 48-37.

Pinnacle held a one point lead in the first quarter and went to the locker room down by just three points, but Escalante would use a 11-4 run in the third to put the Panthers away.

Senior Stephanie Sasser would lead Pinnacle with 20 points in the game. Junior Destinee Andrews would drop in eight and senior Alyssa MacDonald added four.

For the Moquis, Zoee Torgerson had 15 points, with Mikki Prows chipping in  14 and Kenzie Lyman contributing 14 points in the victory.

This loss puts the Panthers at 7-5 on the season and holding the #14 spot in the RPI for 1A. There are only nine games left until State Playoff Competition begins at the end of February.

Tonight Pinnacle takes on Water Canyon in Hildale. They sit at 4-4 and #11 in the RPI.

After the game this evening the Lady Panthers will be off until January 14 when they will welcome the Green River Pirates to Price to open Region 19 play. Tip-off is set for 7 pm.
