The Lady Dinos have been road warriors of late, it started back on last Thursday as they would dismantle the Grand Red Devils in Moab, they continued their road trip last night in Richfield where the outcome was not as Carbon-friendly, as the Wildcats would hand the Dinos region loss number two by a score of 62-56.

The Dinos would keep it close all game going down by eight at the end of the first quarter and  they would cut that deficit to three at the half. They would get it to two by the end of the third, but the Wildcats would out score them by four in the fourth quarter to secure the victory.

Richfield sits at 13-4 and is currently sitting at No. 4 in the RPI rankings that are put out by the Utah Highs School Activities Association. Passion Reitz would lead all scorers with 22 point in the game. Sipola Vakautakakala added 17 and Jordyn Moon would score 11 in the win.

For the Dinos, Abbie Saccomanno dropped in 16 to go with seven assists, two rebounds and one steal. Janzie Jensen added 13 and grabbed two rebounds and Jordan Bianco had nine points all from behind the arc, two rebounds with one assist and one steal.

Carbon is now 12-6 and No. 5 in the RPI. Winners of three out of their last four, the Dinos  will head to Monroe where they will face the #1 team in 3A,  South Sevier. The Rams have yet to lose a game this season sitting with a perfect 17-0 record. Back on January 7 the Lady Rams visited Price and left with a 53-39 victory. In that game Diana Morley led the way for the Dinos with 10 points.

The game at South Sevier starts the second half of region play for the Dinos who went  3-2 in the first half, a win against the Rams would do a lot for them in the state rankings,  with half of Region 12 in the top 10 there will be some difficult games ahead. Also its getting close to the end of the season with just four regular games left on the schedule after Thursday nights game.

The Lady Dinos will face South Sevier on Thursday evening in Monroe. Game time is set for 7:00.

They will then return home for two games next week. On Tuesday they welcome The Grand Red Devils and on Thursday night they will face the Emery Spartans. Both games will start at 7:00
