Our wonderful mom, grandma, great-grandma, aunt and friend passed away peacefully on August 10, 2020. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Millie was born the youngest of four on April 28, 1931, to Lubomir “Eli” Radakovich and Annie Vogrinec Radakovich in Hiawatha, Utah.  She was a Carbon County native.  She grew up in a small town and loved adventure.  Millie met Harry Fox, Jr. in Helper while she was working as a telephone operator and thought he was the best-looking guy in town.  When Harry returned from serving overseas in the military, they ran off to Las Vegas and were married on October 9, 1953.  They resided in Helper where they raised their two children whom they adopted.  Harry and Millie were married for 46 years before his passing in 2000.

She enjoyed gardening, reading, doing puzzles, cooking and baking the best Hungarian cookies in Carbon County during Christmastime.  Her sense of adventure led her on many fun trips in her retirement, traveling to many places with family and her friends from the Price Senior Citizen Center. She was very supportive of her grandchildren and was often at their activities and enjoyed having them stay with her.  Millie was a strong woman with a warm-heart, generous spirit and great kindness.  She left us with many treasured memories and encouraged us to enjoy the simple beauty of life.

Survivors include her children Michele (Keith) Utz, Stansbury Park, Eric, Tennessee; grandchildren: Melissa (Chris) Leigh, Brandon (Megan) Utz, Shurina (Sean) Casey, Eric Fox, Jr. and Faith Fox Nimtz.  Great grandchildren: Rafe, Isla, Ezra, Chance, Kaeden, Logan and Lilliana, as well as many loving nieces and nephews

Preceded in death by parents, husband, brothers, sister and in-laws.

To keep with Millie’s wishes, there will be a graveside service on Friday, August 14, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at the Mt. View Cemetery in Helper.  Family will receive friends at Mitchell Funeral Home Friday from 12:30-1:30 p.m.  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Millie online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
