The First Baptist Church is looking forward to hosting their annual Block Party on Saturday, August 15 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the church which is located at 200 North 300 East in Price.

“We’re going to have some games. We’ve got cornhole game, I understand that is really popular now; and we’ve got a water slide for the kids, a blow-up water slide, so they need to come prepared to get wet. Come prepared to have fun. We’re going to have grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, and everything is free,” said Pastor, Bob Wells. This is a chance for the church to give back to the community and for families to come enjoy a fun activity on a Saturday afternoon.

“I’ve been talking to them at the Health Department to be sure we’re maintaining social distancing and keeping everything safe. We want to avoid the spread of COVID virus but we want to have fun as well and just come stay as long as you want to. If you want to be there from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm that’s great if you want to just come in for a bite to eat that’s good too,” said Pastor Wells. Again, this event is free and open to the public.
