Come ready to see classic and custom cars, a pinup contest and enjoy the music at the 34th Annual Helper Annual Outlaw Car Show & Cruise taking place on Friday, September 4 and Saturday, September 5 in Helper.

The annual car show will kick off on Friday night at 6:00 pm at the Helper Main Street Park. “We just line the cars up, and we have our DJ – Rockin HotRod Productions, they play music there; we’ll register cars there and then we take off on a Poker Run Cruise. We’ll go up to Kenilworth, and then come down here to Price and around,” said Event Coordinator, Mike James. The caravan of cars will return to the Main Street Park where officials will determine who won the poker run.

On Saturday, September 5 the car show will begin at 10:00 am at the Helper City Park near the city swimming pool. “That will start at 10:00 am, then we’ll have our Flag Raising Ceremony at noon, and then at 2:00 pm we have a Pin-up Contest which will be ran by Deville Magazine which is a car culture magazine that are coming down to cover the show both days and they will do the Pin-up Contest,” said James. There will be two categories to compete in for the Pin-up Contest, an 18 and younger, and a 18 and older age groups. Prizes will be awarded to the top contestants.

To view the vehicles in the car show is free to the public and there will be free admission into the local swimming pool all day for any children that would like to go swimming.
