Our loving wife, mother, sister and “YiaYia,” Evangeline Bikakis Robertson, 89, passed away September 6, 2020 at the Heirloom Inn in Price.

She was born March 4, 1931 in Price, Utah to Nick Charles and Mae Pappas Bikakis.  Married James Henry Robertson, August 10, 1958 at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Price, Utah.

Vangie was a member of the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church where she was also a member of the Philoptochos Society.  She was a longtime resident of Carbon County and a graduate of Carbon High and Carbon College. She later received a Bachelor’s in Education from the University of Utah.  Vangie began teaching at Dragerton Elementary, and when she moved to Sacramento, California she continued her teaching career.  Vangie lived for family and loved nothing more than caring for family and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was an avid fan of the University of Utah and the Utah Jazz.  “May Her Memory Be Eternal.”

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Symbii, Parkdale and the Heirloom Inn for their loving care shown to Vangie over the past few months.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Robertson, East Carbon; daughter, Joan (Richard) Aragon, Provo; son, Jimmy (Bernedette) Robertson, West Valley; six grandchildren, Brandee, Stormee and Angel Aragon, Sophie, Toby and Katie Irene Robertson; three great-grandchildren, Ricky, Ryan and Ryder; brothers, Charles (Smoki) Bikakis, Seattle, WA, Kosta (Chris) Bikakis, Escondido, CA.

Vangie was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service, Saturday, September 12, 2020, 11:00 a.m., Assumption Greek Orthodox Church.  Interment, Price City Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church (61 South 200 East, Price, Utah 84501).  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
