The Carbon Dino soccer team traveled to Moab to take on the Grand County Red Devils. They put on the defense as they only allowed one shot on goal and walked away with the 3-0 shutout.

Carbon sits at 6-3 overall and 3-1 in Region 12 play. Their only loss in conference came at the hands of Richfield on Tuesday, looking to rebound, the Dinos were ready for Grand.

Ryan Brady scored her 11 and 12 goals on the season and Saydee Johnson collected her first. Amiah Timothy added an assist as well. Emma Flemett gathered her second shutout of the season.

Carbon is sitting at No. 6 in the current RPI, climbing up one spot after falling with the loss to Richfield.

Up next for the Lady Dinos is a match-up with the Emery Spartans on the Tuesday the 15 at home in Price.

The match is scheduled to begin at 4 pm.
