The Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its monthly Live @ Lunch event on Thursday, September 12 at 12:00 pm. Castle Country Radio sat down with Executive Chamber Director, Allison Preston to talk about the meeting.

“So this Thursday at noon you can join us on Zoom, you can click it to that link we have on our Facebook page. We do have four spotlights that we have this month, so two business spotlights. The first one is our Carbon County Sheriff’s Emergency Preparedness Department with Justin Needles, and then we will also be spotlighting Tina Henrie with the Office of Tourism,” said Preston. The two community spotlights will feature the HOPE Squad of Carbon, Emery & Grand Counties and Altitude Cycle.

The featured speaker for the Live @ Lunch will be Peczuh Printing. “Our main speaker is going to be Frank Peczuh and he’s actually going to give us a tour of his printing place and show us how things are made, and how things are done. We had the privilege of having Spencer Loveless recently, he showed us his 3D printers and all sorts of things that you wouldn’t naturally get from a luncheon when you’re sitting around a table. So we are trying to do the best we can with these Live @ Lunches with the technology we have,” explained Preston. This Live @ Lunch event is open to all members of the community and the meeting code can be found on the Carbon County Chamber of Commerce Facebook page.

There will be a Virtual Professional Speed Networking Event taking place on Wednesday, September 23 at 9:00 am. “It gives you a great opportunity to come and do an elevator pitch, and it may be something where you just talk generally about your business, or you can talk about what your needs and wants are, or if you have events coming up, or anything else that may just want to get your face out there and get people to know about,” said Preston. This is a great occasion to help grow your business or career. This is open to all members of the community and again the meeting code can be found on the Carbon County Chamber Commerce Facebook page.

Any questions about the upcoming events can be answered by calling the Carbon County Chamber of Commerce office at (435) 637-2788.
