The Carbon Dinos were riding a two match winning streak when the welcomed the San Juan Broncos to Price on Tuesday night. In fact, in their last two contests they haven’t dropped a single set. That didn’t change as the defeated the Broncos in straight sets.

The Dinos have been on quite a tear lately blanking South Sevier and Duchesne with straight set wins in both matches.

San Juan entered Tuesdays affair 4-9 overall and 0-5 in region matches. And while the three sets were close, Carbon still came away with the 25-19, 25-18 and 25-18 win.

For the Dinos Katie Jones registered 19 digs on the day, Lyndee Mower added 14. In the kills column Emma Christensen had 12 while Sydney Orth collected eight and Makenna Blanc gathered 25 assists.

Carbon now has a 12-3 overall record and a 4-2 record in region play. They also sit at No. 4 in the state RPI.

On Thursday they welcome the Richfield Wildcats to Price. The Wildcats are currently undefeated in region play and ranked at #6 in.

With no match next Tuesday the Dinos will travel to Castle Dale to take on the Spartans next Thursday October 1st.

Both matches are set to begin at 6:30 p.m..
