The Friends Board for the Carbon and Emery Children’s Justice Centers are excited to sponsor the annual Christmas Tree Regalia this year. Because of the COVID pandemic, this year’s event will take place on Price City’s Main Street and Director, Shelley Wright took time to come into Castle Country Radio to discuss all the details of this year’s event.

“This year we just really didn’t know for sure if we were going to have the Regalia or not, but we had come up with this crazy idea to let’s have it, let’s have it on Main Street. So the Friends Board Members got together and discussed how this would all work, and it’s actually coming together really nicely,” said Wright. Businesses along Main Street have donated their front window space for the cause. Patrons will be able to enjoy all the Christmas Tree Regalia trees by walking along Price City’s Main Street during the Regalia that is scheduled to take place on November 13 through November 27. Folks can take a closer look at the trees during regular business hours.

Not only will there be beautiful and unique trees to enjoy but the Friends Board for the Carbon and Emery Children’s Justice Centers will host activities. “Every Friday, November 13 through November 27 there will be a stroll along Main Street, where you can actually go in to the business, the tree lights will be on, there will be concessions. Some of the different food vendors along Main Street are willing to sell some food, and then we have the two coffee shops along Main Street they’re going to do hot chocolate. We just have activities planned every Friday from November 13 through November 27,” explained Wright. A map citing the location of trees and a list of Regalia activities will be provided at the various businesses and online.

Officials will conduct an online auction for those that would like to bid on the beautiful trees. “All bidding will be done through Facebook; the Friends Board has a Facebook page and so that’s how the bids will come through. So yea, get your bids in and you can start bidding as early as November 13 and it ends at 8:00 pm on November 27,” said Wright. All of the proceeds earned from the Christmas Tree Regalia will assist with operational costs and buildings improvements for the Family Support and Children’s Justice Centers in Carbon and Emery counties.
