Starting a new month always means lots of fun events taking place at the Carbon County Chamber of Commerce. Castle Country Radio was able to sit down with Executive Director, Jennifer Acklin to talk about how to become a member, the Traveling Traeger Contest and the March Luncheon.

“One of the greatest benefits of joining the chamber is we are able to help with networking. Let’s get you promoted, let’s get the word out about some of the events you have coming up, some of the deals you got going on, let’s do a video and kind of show them. A lot of people don’t realize what we have to offer in these small businesses, we think its one thing but there a hundred different things inside. So let’s get out there, lets interview, let’s see what’s going on with your business,” said Acklin. If your business would like to join the chamber you can contact Acklin at the office to get all the details and information.

Carbon County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a contest entitled Traveling Traeger. “What our mission is with this drawing is to bring business to businesses. If you spend $20.00 or more, all you have to do is upload the receipt to my email, leave your name and phone number and you are entered into the drawing to win the Traeger,” explained Acklin. Folks will need to visit chamber businesses to submit an entry and a list of chamber businesses is listed on their website at https://www.carboncountychamber.net/ Everyone is entitled to one free entry and you can take advantage of that by emailing Acklin at cccc@carboncountychamber.net

This month’s Chamber Luncheon will take place on March 18 at 12:00 pm at Granny J’s Restaurant on 715 East Main Street. “So our Community Spotlight is Carbon Caring for Kids and we’re hoping that she’ll show up and speak a little bit about what their mission is and what they’ve got coming up. Our Business Spotlights is the Center of Economic Development. We will have hopefully one or two of our commissioners come and speak at that, as well as maybe Rita Vigor. We’ve also got Juniper Pizza Café, we’ve got Miss Sherry coming to speak with us,” stated Acklin. To RSVP for the March Luncheon contact the chamber office at (435) 637-2788 or by email at cccc@carboncountychamber.net
