Our loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and long-time friend Carey Joyce Bloomer, 71, passed away in her home on April 29th, 2021. Carey was born January 22nd, 1950 in Price, Utah to Robert and Aleen Riley and the only daughter of six children.

Carey met the love of her life Billy, while living in California where her father worked on a ranch. Carey later married William “Billy” Bloomer on October 12th, 1968 in Sacramento, California. They eventually moved to Clawson, Utah where they raised their three children. They loved their small town and remained there for the rest of their lives.

Carey was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She answered many callings within the church and enjoyed each and every one.

Carey loved to serve others. This extended outside of her family. She was always willing to help anyone in need and always put others ahead of herself.

Carey was multi-talented and succeeded in all her endeavors. She was an expert in the butcher trade, served 3 decades as a certified EMT, and two terms as Mayor of Clawson town. Carey loved to cook and shared this passion by preparing meals for the local senior community.

Her positive attitude and loving smile were contagious to those around her and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children Russell (Tiffany) Bloomer, Becky (Jeffrey) Lee, and Ronny (Leigh) Bloomer. Grandchildren Sabrina, Aspen (Tee), Keira, Corben, Liam, and Gabe, father Robert Riley, brothers Mike (April) Riley, Scott (Cathy) Riley, Wade (Kim) Riley, and Trent (Delanna) Riley.
