Eastern Utah Community Credit Union is hosting a Drive-in Movie Night events in both Moab and Price this month. Castle Country Radio was able to sit down with Chief Executive Officer, Bruce Yost who shared all the details of the events.

“So May 7 and May 8 we’re doing this at the Spanish Trail Arena down there and again it starts at 8:30 pm. We’ll start seating, not seating I guess but letting you drive in about 7:30 pm. Again, we are showing Cars the first night, and the second night we are showing Jurassic Park, so some great classics,” stated Yost. Tickets to get into the drive-in movies are available at the Moab Branch at 860 South Main Street.

Showings in Price will take place on May 14 and May 15 at the Carbon County Fairgrounds. “Here in Price, you’re at the fairgrounds, and so again Cars Friday night and Jurassic Park on Saturday night. It will start at 8:30 pm and we’ll start letting people drive in at 7:30 pm,” said Ward. Tickets are limited and can be picked up at either the Price branch at 675 East 100 North or Castle Dale branch at 121 East Main Street.

“We’re trying to always think of ways to give back to the community as well as we use this to kind of sell concessions and raise money for the Angel Tree and other local charities and so during COVID what a better way than to do a drive-in theatre where you can be with your family,” explained Yost. A concession stand will be set up at both events in Moab and in Price.
