Marilyn C Larsen of Ferron, Utah Age 82 died May 4, 2021 at home in Ferron, Utah. She was born July 10, 1938 to Gordon T Christensen and Jean Jewkes. She Married Jay Leonard Larsen January 25, 1957 in the Manti Temple.

She grew up in the Coal Camps of Carbon County then moved to Price. She continued secondary and High School and some college at CEU.

She was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she served in various callings including a mission to the Manti Temple that she did with her sweetheart for several years. One of her favorite callings was visiting teaching in the Emery County Care Center which she went everyday to visit all the patients. She enjoyed camping, boating, and riding ATVs with family and her husband. She worked as a seamstress and teachers’ aide for many years.

Marilyn is preceded in death by husband Jay Leonard Larsen.

She is survived by children Don Jay (Suzanne) Larsen, Kevin G. (Jeanna) Larsen, Sherry Lynn (Matthew) Clement Steven Paul (LaDawn) Larsen, Shauna Jean Potter, her sister Linda Zamora, 21 grandchildren, and 43 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be Saturday May 8, 2021 at 12:00 pm at the Millsite Ward Chapel in Ferron, Utah with a viewing held one hour prior to the service. A live streaming of the service will be on Zoom. Meeting ID 220 090 6404. Burial will follow at the Ferron City Cemetery.
