The Dino golf team was back on Wednesday at Cove View, the home course of the Richfield Wildcats. Carbon shot  a 312 putting them in second place for the day behind host Richfield’s 302.

Bode Salas turned in a 73, two strokes off of Richfield’s Keaton Anderson’s 71. Wyatt Toney of Grand, Jaygen Mullen of Richfield and Emery’s Trevin Wakefield rounded out the top five individual performances

On the team side Emery, Grand and Canyon View finished behind Richfield and Carbon.

For Carbon, Salas was followed by Kyler Clark and Daron Garner, who both turned in a 79. Branden Scovill shot an 81, Cole Callahan an 85, Rydege Butler, 87 and Cole Yoklavich a 90. Ryker Butler also carded a 105.

The match last week at Palisade did not count into the final season score as it was counted as an exhibition.

Richfield continues to hold on to the top spot finishing the regular season in first place. Carbon sits in second place and Emery holds in at No.3.

The season is slowly coming to a close. On Monday the Region 12 Championship will be held at Palisade in Sterling. The State Championship will be held on October 6 at Oquirrh Hills.
