David T. Blazevic passed away on January 11, 2022, in Price, Utah at the age of 94. His wife for 57 years, Sally Mount Blazevic, passed away in 2012. He was born in Duluth, Minnesota on March 20, 1927, as the 4th child in a family that eventually had 15 children. He is survived by three children, Edine Heinig (Terry) of Markesan, Wisconsin, Eric Blazevic (Dana) of Seattle, Washington, and Erica Kardelis (David) of Helper, Utah and seven grandchildren, John and Michael (Andrea) of Iowa and Wisconsin, Rachel and Sarah Blazevic of Washington, and Gwyneth, Patrick, and Lilith Kardelis of Utah, and two great grandchildren, Jakob and Kurtis of Wisconsin. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters Millicent, Monica, and Elizabeth in Minnesota; Raymond in Florida; Clement in Nebraska; Rosemary in Colorado, and Vincenta in Indiana along with hundreds of nieces and nephews across the USA. He along with his 3 older brothers served in WWII, and he ended up in the headquarters of the 82nd Airborne Division. Later graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1951 as a Mechanical Engineer and was the President of the U of M Ski Club. From 1951 to 1982, he worked for US Steel, Youngstown Sheet & Tube, J & L Steel, and Columbia Steel, before starting Hot Rolling Consultants in late 1982. He remained a consultant to the steel industry until he passed away. He has presented many technical papers in the United States and at various International Conferences around the world. He has 5 patents, written 12 books, and copyrighted many papers concerning hot rolling in the steel industry.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11am, Saturday, February 5, 2022, at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 5 South Main, Helper, Utah. Visitation and viewing will be held one hour before the Funeral Mass at the church.
