There will be a huge Grad Spec celebration taking place on Thursday, May 26 at the Jennifer Leavitt Student Center on the campus of USU-Eastern. Castle Country Radio was able to sit down with students, Rusty Seeley and Lexie Dart to discuss all the details.

This gathering will begin at 8:00 pm at the Jennifer Leavitt Student Center. There will be many fun activities and live music for students to enjoy throughout the night.  “We’re going to start it with two bands. The first band is going to be the local band Wedge. They’re going to be great. Then we’ll start with Shuffle, which isn’t local but they play some pretty good songs, they’re going to play some classics,” said Seeley. The group Shuffle is a local favorite who has performed at many local events like Culture Connection, International Days and Helper’s Art Festival. They are sure to get the students up and dancing all night long.

Advanced tickets are currently on sale for $20.00 during the lunch hour at the high school and all high school students are invited to attend this event. “When I was a freshman, I got to go, which was something very exciting to me because its kind of inclusive to the whole school, so we’re reunited together before the seniors leave, instead of something just for the seniors. So that was super fun freshman year. Then last year it was at the airport hangar, it was tons of fun and a beautiful night,” said Dart. There will be live music to enjoy, dancing, games, opportunity drawings and a movie will close out the night’s fun at the King Koal Theatre.

If you have any questions about the event, you can call Event Coordinators, Kendra Seeley at (435) 630-7581 or Russell Seeley at (435) 650-8519.
