helper-vibes

Another Helper Saturday Vibes gathering is set to take place on Saturday, July 23 on Helper’s Historic Main Street. Everyone in the community is invited to attend this great family-friendly event. Castle Country Radio was able to sit down with Vendor Manager, Rachel Barbee to get all the details.

Helper Saturday Vibes is moving along through their season and it’s been going very well as Barbee explains, “Well we’re officially halfway through the season and things have been going great. We obviously have had great turnouts. Our last event we think was one of our largest. You know it’s just been really fun to see the community come out and support, you know, Helper developing.” Each gathering features music, kid’s activities, food and vendor booths

As always, this week’s bands are sure to provide great musical entertainment for guests to enjoy all night long. “So Meander Cat, they’re real fun. They’ve got a souly vibe, they also do a lot of rock and roll, they’re out of Moab. Then we also have the Code Blue Revival, they do a lot of 60s and 70s covers so excited to see everybody out there dancing on the lawn,” said Barbee. Meander Cat will take the stage at 5:00 pm and Code Blue Revival will be set to go at 8:00 pm. Guests are urged to bring their lawn chairs and blankets so they can sit near the stage to see the performances.

Visitors can make an evening out of the event as there will be food trucks available to purchase dinner items. “So we do have a full gamma of food trucks again this time. We’ve got five different food trucks. We got everything from barbeque to tacos again. Mambo truck which has been a favorite, Smoking Roadside Grill which is also a local favorite. We’ve also got some Navajo Tacos as well,” stated Barbee. All items are very reasonably priced and delicious.

This is a family-friendly gathering so there will be activities for the children to enjoy too. “So we got bounce houses as usual but then we’re also going to have our horse and pony rides are back, with our famous unicorn pony. So make sure to bring your kids down to check out the pony rides,” said Barbee.
