The First Baptist Church is excited to host the First Annual Fall Harvest Festival on Saturday, Nov. 19 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at their location of 200 North 300 East in Price. Everyone in the community is invited to attend this family friendly event. Castle Country Radio was able to sit down with Pastor Bob Wells to talk about all the fun details.

“We’re going to have Pop A Pumpkin it’s kind of a game board, some balloons up on the board and kids will pop the pumpkin, which will just be balloons. Then there will be Needle in The Haystack, some straw there and have some little prizes that the little kids can find as they dig through the haystack. Apple toss, tic-tac-toe, there’s just a number of games that they’ve planned for the children. There will be some prizes with each of the games and some snacks and just a fun time of fellowship,” said Pastor Wells. This will be a great time to get to know more about the church, as well as, spend an afternoon together as a family.

This is the first time hosting the Fall Harvest Festival but the church tries to host different events throughout the year.  “We generally have events that take place around Christmas, and Resurrection Sunday, and we celebrate things like Passover, just as a teaching tool. Try to have special events throughout the year,” said Pastor Wells. This is a way for the church to give back to the community.

The church has several meetings available for guests to attend.  “We have Sunday School at 9:45 am, Worship at 11:00 am and then on Tuesday night we have a Mid-week Service, where we have bible study and prayer time. We also have a men’s breakfast every other Saturday at 8:30 am and would love to have men come out and have a good time of fellowship there,” explained Pastor Wells.
