Price City and Cherry Peak Resort Winter Concert Series are excited to host a Christmas concert with Mark Mackay on Saturday, Dec. 17 at 7:00 pm at the Price Civic Auditorium. Everyone in the community is invited to attend this family friendly event. Castle Country Radio was able to sit down with Price City Council Member, Layne Miller and Cherry Peak Ski Resort Representative, Michael Smith to get all the details.

“Price City is taking advantage of an opportunity to bring a Nashville singer to Price, Utah. Mark Mackay lives in Nashville, he’s coming to Utah on tour and they have picked Price, Utah as one of the locations for him to stop and entertain. I don’t think we ever done this before but we have a way for local businesses to help Price City bring, I would say country-rock music to Price, Utah,” said Miller. The concert is a prefect way to kick off the holiday season as there will be several Christmas songs performed. Currently, regular tickets for individuals are on sale by visiting the Cherry Peak Resort website and are $30.00 per person.

Price City is looking for businesses in the area to help sponsor this one of kind event with several options available for sponsorship packages. “The sponsorships at whichever level, we have sponsorship levels that start are at $250.00 all the way up to $15,000.00. It will depend on the size of the business and employees and who they want to give tickets to. These tickets for the concert are valuable but as a perk what we add on top of that is because we are a ski resort we’re giving with each concert ticket a day ski-pass, even in some cases an annual pass. That’s up for negotiations,” explained Smith. The ski passes will be redeemable at 34 different resorts around the area. All sponsors will have an onstage mention and their logo on the onstage banner. Interested businesses can contact Michael Smith at (435) 770-4827 to get more information on the concert sponsorship packages.
