Billie Joe Williams “Wild Bill,” age 84, of Miller Creek, Utah passed away on January 6, 2023 surrounded by his family.

Billie was born on June 16, 1938 in Livingston, California to George Herbert Williams and Mattie Frances Witt. Married Betty Jean Avilla on December 12, 1959 in Atwater, California.

Billie enlisted in the United States Navy in 1956 and was honorably discharged in 1961. Throughout his life, he worked for dairy’s milking cows, farming, and at Foster Farms Chickens. In 1976, he purchased his cousin’s dairy farm in Moore, Utah. Upon selling the farm, he moved to Idaho where he worked for Idaho Supreme until retirement. Following his retirement he moved back to Price, Utah.

Billie enjoyed roping and riding on the mountain with his family and friends. Billie said, “It’s not goodbye; just see you down the trail.” Dad, we will miss you!

Survived by his daughter, Kim (Max) Moosman, Miller Creek, Utah; son, Mark (Kathy) Williams, Shelly, Idaho; daughter-in-law, Sue Williams, Nunn, Colorado; sister, Sandra (Phil) Fournier, Benson, Arizona; and sister-in-law, Carol Williams, Shelly, Idaho.

Preceded in death by his parents, George Herbert Williams and Mattie Frances Witt; wife, Betty; son, Randy Williams; granddaughter, Jeanne; grandson, Ty N. Moosman; siblings, Lenard Kenneth better known as “Bud Williams;” and sister-in-law, Fay Williams.

A CELEBRATION OF LIFE WILL BE HELD IN THE SPRING. THE DATES AND TIMES OF THE SERVICE WILL BE ANNOUNCED BY MITCHELL FUNERAL HOME. Following the celebration of life the burial will take place in the Wellington City Cemetery, Wellington, Utah. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price and Huntington where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Billie online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
