Our beloved brother, uncle and friend, Glen Leon Greenwood, age 92, passed away February 8, 2023 at Parkdale Care Center in Price, Utah.

He was born June 29, 1930 in Price, Utah to Heber and Mary Jensen Greenwood.

Glen was a lifelong resident of Carbon County who drove truck for Wycoff and Utah Wholesale Grocery Distributing Company for many years.  He honorably served his country in the US Army and was a life member of the American Legion for 60 years.  Glen loved playing board games, listening to music and enjoying old westerns.  He will be dearly missed by his family and a community of friends.

Glen is survived by his brother, Floyde Greenwood, Price; two sisters, Verna (Gale) Chapman, Leamington, Utah, Donna Koncher, Price; many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and residents and staff at Parkdale Care Center where he resided for the past five years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Heber and Mary Jensen Greenwood; infant sister, Mary Greenwood; and a brother-in-law, Richard Koncher.

Graveside services for Glen will be Thursday, February 9, 2023, 1:15 p.m., at Price City Cemetery.  A viewing will be held at Mitchell Funeral Home in Price Thursday from 12:00-1:00 p.m. prior to the graveside service.  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price and Huntington where friends are welcome to share memories online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
