Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend and highly respected auto body repairman, Rodolfo “Rudy” Estrada Garcia, age 70, passed away July 19, 2024 at Castleview Hospital in Price, Utah.
He was born October 6, 1953 in Mexico to Jose and Sabas Estrada Garcia. Rudy married JoAnn Trujillo on April 12, 2006 in Price.
Rudy was a tireless auto body repairman who valued hard work and true craftsmanship. He was known by many in the area for his talents and he worked in this industry his entire life. Rudy worked for Ray Montoya, Zupon’s Paint & Body, C & T, Sherry’s, and was presently employed at First Choice Auto Body at the time of his passing. Rudy loved spending time with family, and his greatest joy was taking his grand and great-grandkids fishing and getting haircuts. He always made sure that his grandchildren had everything they needed. From putting up swimming pools for them to play in, he always made sure they had the best. They loved their Papa with all their hearts and they will dearly miss him. On the weekend’s he would wash and shine his truck and make sure that he had the shiniest Red truck in town. His latest accomplishment was putting sod around his home on the Old Wellington Road and he was very proud of how it looked and in usual Rudy fashion, there wasn’t a blade of grass out of place.
Rudy had incredible friends and he valued their friendships. Rudy spent countless hours with his good friends, Ernesto Trejo, Steve Quintana, Avery Christensen, Tino Lujan and Dr. Dale Terry. Rudy was respected by all and he was willing to help everyone with whatever he could. He will be greatly missed by those whose life he touched. Rest in Peace Rudy, We Love You!
