Price City’s International Days celebration is fast approaching and with that are a few great events to get out and have some fun and maybe even some friendly competition.  Every year tournaments for events like cornhole, a 5K, pickleball and disc golf to get people out about and moving.

Getting everything started on Thursday night at 8:00 is the 5K. Registration is still open by clicking the link HERE. Cost is $20 and there is a discount offered for groups of three or more family members from the same household. Check-ins begin at 7:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the church next to the park.

On Friday evening a cornhole tournament is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. Registration is open by clicking HERE and clicking on the community classes/events tab. Entry fee is $50 per team with prizes for first, second, and third places. There will be an Airmail competition beginning at 5:30 and going until 6:30, cost is $10 for 4 bags and it is open to anyone.    Check-in will begin at 6:00 p.m..

Eastern Utah Community Credit Union is sponsoring the Pickleball tournament that will get started on Friday night at 7:00 p.m., for all ages and beginners that is full at this time. On Saturday, they will start up again at 7:30 a.m. for intermediate players and then at 7:00 p.m. the advanced players will begin play. Cost is $15 per player with all proceeds going towards new Pickleball courts. If you have any questions you can text Jill Atwood at (435) 650-5663. Saturday will be a busy day with the Mayor’s walk from 7:30-9:30 a.m. at the Bookcliff Mural. On Saturday morning USU Eastern will be hosting a Disc Golf tournament starting at 8:00. Disc Golf has really taken off in the last few years and there is a great course on campus. Registration this year is staggered with the tournament going until the afternoon. This is a completely free family friendly event and with registration the way it is just show up between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and you can go out and participate.
