The USU Eastern women’s soccer team has announced their schedule for the 2024 season which kicks off on August 8th with an away scrimmage against Utah Tech University in St. George, UT.

Following the opener, the Lady Eagles will face Western Nebraska Community College on August 22nd in Casper, WY. Another key game to watch is the home opener on August 30th against Northwest College at the Castleview Hospital Soccer Field in Price, UT, where fans will have their first opportunity to see the team in action on their home turf.

In September, USU Eastern will host Snow College on September 7th, which will surely be an important matchup in Scenic West standings.  The Lady Eagles will take on Pacific Northwest Christian College at home on September 19th.

October brings more excitement with home games against Colorado Northwestern Community College on October 10th and Salt Lake Community College on October 12th. Salt Lake Community College was nationally ranked last season, making this a crucial and thrilling match for the team.

Coach Brady expressed optimism about the upcoming season, stating, “With a young and talented squad, we’re certain for an exciting season. Our players are dedicated and their hard work is set to pay off. We’re confident in our ability to compete at a high level and have sights firmly set on nationals. Our schedule includes some tough preseason games that will help us prepare for the challenges ahead. We’re excited to test ourselves against strong opponents and use these experiences to grow and strengthen our team. This season, we’re ready to make our mark”.

The Lady Eagles are coming off a season where they ended up receiving votes in the NJCAA D1 national rankings, demonstrating their potential and setting high expectations for this year. With these and other key matches on the horizon, the USU Eastern women’s soccer team is set for an action-packed season. Fans are encouraged to come out and support the team as they aim for success both on and off the field.
