Even though the 2025-2026 season ended in February and the 2026-2027 season won’t start for five more months, that doesn’t mean that the Emery High School boys’ basketball team will be taking the summer off. The annual Emery Spartan boys’ camp is ready to start on June 8 & 9 at the Spartan Center.

Emery ended the season holding the No. 4 spot and lost in their opening consolation round contest to Canyon View. In the past, the Spartans have traveled around the state, taking part in various tournaments and even attending the Utah Summer Games.  They will start the off-season on June 8th with their annual basketball camp for boys in third through eighth grade.

The camp will begin on June 8th at 10:00 am and conclude at 12:00 p.m. both days (June 8th & 9th). During the camp, participants will work on fundamentals such as dribbling, passing, and free throws. They will also take part in tournament-style games that will make things fun for the kids. The instruction will be provided by the coaching staff and players, with the camp acting as a fundraiser for the program.

The camp will take place on June 8th and 9th  at 10:00 a.m. and will run through 12:00 p.m. on both days. It is open to third- to eighth-grade students, and the cost is just $25, which includes a t-shirt.

If you are interested in enrolling your student, you can email Coach Justice at davej@emeryschools.org or call (435) 820-0642. You can also register on the first day of camp by coming 30 minutes early or using the QR code below.
