Helen Frances Wallace Wright, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2026, at the age of 81.
Helen was born on August 1, 1944, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Myron Stuart Wallace and Margaret Anna Erickson Wallace. She dedicated her life to her family as a loving stay-at-home mother and homemaker, finding her greatest joy in caring for those she loved.
On June 6, 1977, Helen married Neils Wilbert Cager Wright, Jr. Together, they built a life centered on faith, family, and service.
A faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Helen found joy in both her faith and her many hobbies. She loved genealogy, scrapbooking, gardening, baking, rock hunting, and bird watching. She especially cherished preserving family history and spending time with her growing family.
Helen is survived by her brother, Albert (Jenny) Wallace; her children, Neils (Joyce) Wright III, Michael (Andrea) Virgin, Deborah (Chris) Sharp, Sherri (Keith) Taylor, and Nicole Wright. She also leaves behind 23 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren, all of whom were a source of tremendous pride and joy in her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Neils Wilbert Cager Wright, Jr.; and her parents, Myron Stuart Wallace and Margaret Anna Erickson Wallace.
The family would like to extend a special thank-you to Casey and Tiana with Symbii Home Health and Hospice, and to Jessica Shay, for the loving care, compassion, and support they provided to our mother during her final days.
