Daralynne Marie Patton, 25, passed away on August 31, 2026, in Provo, Utah, surrounded by love. Born June 28, 2001, in Price, Utah, Daralynne spent her life loving deeply, caring for those around her, and creating memories with the people who meant the most to her.
Daralynne, born on June 28, 2001, was the loving daughter of Patricia Arce Wichmann and Jason Wichmann. She grew up in Price, Utah and attended schools within the Carbon School District, including Castle Heights Elementary, Carbon High School, and the Lighthouse.
From the time she was young, Daralynne possessed an enormous heart and a natural instinct to care for others. Even as a child herself, she often stepped into a motherly role with the younger cousins and children around her. Taking care of people came naturally to Daralynne. She wanted those she loved to feel protected, cared for, and included, and she would do whatever she could to help someone who needed her.
That loving and nurturing spirit became an even greater part of her life when she became a mother. Daralynne was the loving mother of her two boys, Brentley, age three, and Ryder, age one. Her boys were an incredibly important part of her life, and she treasured the adventures, outings, and memories she was able to create with them and her husband, Wyatt.
Daralynne loved spending time with her family and was always ready for an adventure or an opportunity to make another memory. She adored her nieces and nephews and shared the same loving, motherly spirit with them that her family had seen in her since childhood.
She also loved the opportunity to get dressed up for special occasions and family outings. Daralynne enjoyed doing her hair, beautifying her nails, putting together an outfit, and getting ready for the moments that felt special. Whether it was a family adventure, an outing with Wyatt and her boys, or simply an opportunity to spend time with the people she loved, Daralynne found happiness in making those moments memorable.
Daralynne is survived by her husband, Wyatt Patton, with whom she’s been together for six years; her sons, Brentley Patton and Ryder Patton; and her parents, Patricia Wichmann and Jason Wichmann.
She is also survived by her siblings, Johnathon Barringer and his wife, Annie, and their children, Emma and Ares; Darien Wichmann and his wife, Payge, and their children, Dalaynee, Blakeleigh, and Mason; Rosie Wichmann; Kaitlyn Wichmann; Phoenix Simper; and Aubriella Olsen and her children, Renesmee and Emily. She is further survived by many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her cousin, Tycee Mogensen; her uncle, Jared Wichmann; her aunts, Ginger Bright and Lucy Bright; her grandmothers, Jody Lloyd and Sharon Wichmann; her grandfather, Allen Lloyd; and her great-grandparents.
Although Daralynne’s life ended far too soon, the love she gave during her 25 years will continue through her family and, most especially, through her two little boys. Those who knew her will remember her enormous heart, her instinct to care for others, her love for her family, and the way she was always trying to take care of everyone around her.
Daralynne was a daughter, a wife, a mother, a sister, an aunt, a niece, a granddaughter, a cousin, and a friend. To each of those people, she was something uniquely their own. Her absence will be deeply felt, but the memories, love, and family she leaves behind will ensure that she is never forgotten.
