With the end of the spring sports season comes awards, and the All-State awards for the 2026 track and field season were announced, with Carbon athletes earning 13 honors. The All-State award is voted on by coaches around the state in each sport.

Coming off a pair of top ten team finishes, the boys’ claimed sixth, and the girls’ seventh at the State Championships, the Dinos had 13 Student Athletes named to the list. Athletes were named to the list for their events. Leading the way for the Dinos, like they had all season, were Rozlyn Stowe and Carter Branch, who collected honors in four events, the most that a student athlete can be given.

For the Lady Dinos, Stowe capped off an incredible high school career with All-State honors in the 800, 1600, 3200, and sprint medley relay. Avy Davis earned three nods for the 4×100, sprint medley relay, and the 100 meters. Both Malia Smith and Blythe Bradford collected honors in the 4×100 and sprint medley relays. Naomi Smith earned a nod for her work in the 4×100, Josie Yates collected one for the 3200, Josie Jespersen claimed a mention for the 300-meter hurdles, and Emily Dufour earned the honor for her efforts in the high jump.

Branch led the way for the boys’ team, earning honors in the high jump, 110-meter hurdles, 300-meter hurdles, and the 4×100 relay. Dexter Packard collected two nods for the long jump and the 4×100. Michael Weber collected an honor for his work in the 800-meter, and both Ben Simms and Dawson Johnson earned nods for the 4×100.

Congratulations to all Dino student-athletes on receiving this honor.
