The Emery Water Conservancy District will host a site visit to Adobe Wash Reservoir on Monday, May 23 at 9:00 am for 
individuals that would like to see how the Salinity Program has impacted Emery County. Individuals will meet at the 
EWCD office in Castle Dale and head up with the group to the reservoir. Don Barnett, Executive Director of the Colorado 
River Basin Salinity will talk about the automation that is being used at the reservoirs and the sprinkler systems. 

Individuals will than head to Price for a presentation by Barnett and Mark Quilter that was presented in March at the 
Utah Water Users Workshop in St. George. He will also discuss what folks on the Price River can do to compete 
successfully in the next round of BOR Salinity Grants. The presentation will be held at 3:00 pm at the Carbon 
County Events Center.
