After winning the Utah State Championship, the Carbon Cal Ripken 10-year old All-Stars will be looking to raise funds to cover the costs of traveling to the Southwest Region Tournament in California.

The 10-year old group became the second team from the local area to win a 2016 state championship as they defeated South Sevier 16-4 on June 30 in Beaver. Marching through the state tournament without a single loss, the group won a state title for the third consecutive year.

The team is looking to raise money by helping with yard work. This can be sweeping, lawn mowing, or weed pulling. If you have any yard work that you are willing to pay the boys for, call 435-630-0289.

Last year the group finished without a win, but played competitive baseball as they traveled to Kingsburg, Calif.
